Amy Van Dyken (born February 17, 1973) is an American swimmer who has six career Olympic gold medals. Four of these gold medals came in the 1996 Summer Olympics, making her the first American woman to accomplish such a feat. She won gold in the 50 meter free, 100 meter butterfly, 4×100 meter freestyle relay, and the 4×100 meter medley relay. She also placed fourth in the 100 meter free.
An asthmatic since childhood, Van Dyken is currently married to NFL punter Tom Rouen.
