Shweta Tiwari is one of the most popular Indian Television actress. She played the role of Prerna in Balaji Telefilm’s popular serial ‘Kasauti Zindagi Kay’ on Star Plus for which she won lots of awards. She has also done some commercial advertisements, dance shows, plays in other Indian soaps. Now she will be one of the Judges in Star Plus’s reality show ‘Aajaa Mahi Vay’.

Shweta Tiwari born on 4th October 1980. She got married to Raja Chaudhry a struggling actor on 23 december 1999 and got separated in the year 2007. She has a daughter named Palak.

Shweta got her early education from St.Isabel in Mumbai. At the age of 12, Shweta worked in a travel agency with a salary of Rs. 500/- per month . She did her graduation in commerce from Burhanis College in Mazegaon. She started her acting career from a stage show called ‘ Khoobsoorat Bahu’ and her first TV serial was ‘Aane Waala Pal’ on Doordarshan. The ‘Kalerein’ was the footstep for Shweta from there was no turning back for this actress. ‘Prerna’ was the role in ‘Kasauti Zindagi Kay’ which gave more success and popularity to this great actress. She also participated in ‘Nach Baliye 2′ (with Raja her then husband) but didn’t reach the finals also.

Her was part of the following TV serials, shows and films, ‘Kasauti Zindagi Kay’, ‘Daddy Samjha Karo’, ‘Rishtey’ , ‘Aaja Mahi Vay’, ‘Naaginn‘, ‘Kahin Kissi Roz’, ‘Yeh Hai Jalwa’ etc… She has done few films ‘Madhoshi’, ‘Abrakadabra’, ‘Din-e-intezaar’, ‘Dahek:a restless mind’, ‘Apni Boli Apna Desh’, and ‘Hamar Saiyan Hindustani’ (bhojpuri film).

Shweta won ‘Star Parivaar Awards 2003′ – Favorite Jodi, ‘Star Parivaar Awards 2004′ – Favorite Maa and favorite Bahu, ‘Star Parivaar Awards 2005′ – Favorite Maa, ‘Star Parivaar Awards 2006′ – Favorite Maa, ‘Star Parivaar Awards 2007′ – Favorite Maa, and in ‘ Star Parivaar Awards 2008′ she was honoured for her immense service for Star Plus and the show.
